Pandemic Food Benefits: Only 2 States Approved To Date

Congress created the P-EBT program on March 18th. It would provide thousands of low-income families with eligible children over $110 per child per month while schools are closed. Nearly a month later, only nine states have applied to start a program, and only two have been approved.
